Where should I park?

You’ll find plenty of all-day street parking in the residential area surrounding our shop. Just be sure to avoid the 90-minute zones and the lot adjacent to us—we don't own that one, so you'd risk a tow while you're out on our kayaking tours.

What is the age restriction?

To keep things safe and fun, the City of San Diego and the lifeguards require all participants on our kayaking tours to be at least 5 years old.

What is the weight limit for kayaking?

For a safe and comfortable paddle, the weight limit is 425 lbs for our double kayaks and 325 lbs for single kayaks. We'll get you set up with the right gear when you arrive for our kayaking tours so you can enjoy your time on the water!

When should I arrive for my tour?

Please plan to arrive at our shop at least 30 minutes before your scheduled departure. We head down to the water as a group 10-15 minutes prior to the start time, and since the lifeguards require us to stay on schedule, we can't wait for late arrival

Can waivers be signed upon arrival?

Waivers can be signed either beforehand using your confirmation email, or upon arrival at our shop. If you do plan to sign the waivers at check-in, please be sure to arrive 30-minutes before your scheduled time.

Can a double kayak accommodate one adult and two children?

A double kayak is only valid for a maximum of two people. Unfortunately, we cannot fit more than two people in a double kayak. We do offer single kayaks as an option for our tours as well.

What is your cancellation policy?

We have a 48-hour change and cancellation policy for most bookings. If you need to adjust your plans, just let us know at least 48 hours in advance. For larger groups of 10 or more, we require at least 10 days' notice for any changes or cancellations
